Our emphasis is on practical, investigative opportunities and encouraging children to become independent learners, with enquiring minds. The science curriculum covers three areas: life processes, chemical processes and physical processes.

Within our science work, we seek to develop scientific skills such as observation, recording, hypothesising, questioning and drawing conclusions. The children are shown how to apply their knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas to everyday things and their personal health.
