Through history topics, children are encouraged to develop a sense of time and an understanding of the past. They are encouraged to develop a range of historical skills and concepts including sequencing, enquiring, investigating, interpreting and examining.

We aim for the children to use a questioning and investigative approach based on first hand experiences as far as possible.
