Health

We have a good relationship with our school nurse, who can respond to requests from parents for help. During the year, health checks are made on children's eyesight, hearing and, occasionally, dental health. If your child is to be involved with anyone from the health service, you will receive a letter prior to the visit.

Water

Children are encouraged to drink water on a regular basis. Therefore, they require a small water bottle with their name on it.

Absence from School

If your child is absent from school, please let us know by telephone first thing in the morning, or a letter to your child's teacher if it is a planned absence. If your child is not in school and we do not have a reason, we will ring you. We are required by law to declare all unauthorised absences, and parents are governed by law in being accountable for their child's absence.
