The Curriculum

Geography

During the seven years the children will study the local environment, the British Isles, Europe and the EC and some aspects of world geography. Our geographic work includes studying conservation, and other environmental issues.

Much use is made of secondary sources of information such as maps and photographs. Field trips are an important element of the work undertaken by the children, in order for them to be able to reflect upon the real world.

We aim for the children to use a questioning and investigative approach based on first hand experiences as far as possible.
