Our School

Waite End Primary School has served the local community since 1996, following the amalgamation of the infant and junior school. During this time, the outdoor classroom has developed to incorporate a nature trail and a meadow, providing an alternative learning environment including a quiet area.

Internally, we have specific libraries for Foundation and Key Stage One and Two children and a kitchen for children's cookery, complementing the spacious and well resourced classrooms.

ICT resources have undergone a major renovation, including interactive white boards and satellite computers in all classrooms and a suite for skills teaching. Our ICT technician, ensures that all the hardware and software is ready for use.

We are a small but thriving one-form entry school with 165 children from 4 years to 11 years of age currently on roll. Waite End School provides a hardworking, happy, yet welcoming environment with a committed staff. It maintains a community atmosphere.

The teachers work closely together to provide a consistent, creative and progressive curriculum, which stimulates and challenges children of all abilities.

We actively promote the development of the "whole child" by offering a wide range of extra curricular clubs, numerous trips away from school and residential opportunities, which are eagerly attended.

The school benefits from sharing the campus with Growing Places Nursery and Mill Hill Children's Centre.
